Mangalam Strengthens Community Engagement through Interaction at High Commission of India, London

London: Members of the Mangalam Executive Committee were recently honoured with an invitation to the High Commission of India in London, where they engaged in discussions centred on strengthening cultural engagement, community harmony, and support initiatives for the Indian diaspora across the United Kingdom.

The meeting followed the formation of Mangalam’s newly constituted Executive Committee on 16 January, marking an important step in advancing the organisation’s commitment to promoting Indian culture, philosophy, and community-led initiatives that benefit both the diaspora and the wider society.

During the interaction, discussions highlighted the role of community organisations in fostering cultural awareness, encouraging unity among diverse communities, and building platforms that enable meaningful social engagement. Mangalam representatives shared their vision of strengthening cultural connections through programmes that celebrate India’s heritage while also supporting collaborative initiatives that contribute positively to community development in the UK.
